Not at all, everything was pretty much intact... including the paperclip ground.

It sounds great... the Pots were 250... another interesting piece to the Reverend puzzle. With the TI Flats, its got that gedonkey-donk that I love so much.

+1. I have its identical twin. Great bass. I'd play it all the time if I played fivers more. KILLS with flats.
Agreed. I love the way mine sounds through my Ampegs - the combo of pickup location and scale are just killer.
My wife refers to this color scheme as the Elvis bass, as it's reminiscent of the famous photo of Elvis in the white jumpsuit wearing "that belt".
temporairy with steels and running thru my acoustic 220 and sad 2/12 it also kills.

I'm a big fan of the TI Jazz flats on that bass, though I think Chef likes the D'Adderio Chromes.
It's one of the few basses I've given a nickname: Thumpy. And it's the best 5-string I've ever heard in terms of evenness of tone: Normally the B-string sounds very different to me in terms of timbre, to the point where I generally don't like fivers all that much. The 5L w/flats sounds perfect and even from top to bottom.
Love this bass for Motown and R&B type stuff.

I use ti flats on my 82 blazer precision (my main bass for years) and only on that bass I like them. don't know why, but on my other precisions I use Fender Flats or Framus Nickels. Chromes I only like on Jazzbasses - so I think for the Reverend I will check out the Chromes first. But Iam quiet happy with the steels

I have the DR Hi-Beam rounds on my 5L but am enjoying LaBella flats on my PJ. How do the DR's compare with the LaBella's?
