... and I've got my sites on another PJ if it every becomes available. I'm so hard up I bought a red slingshot to look at while I wait.

Wonder who's the lucky new owner? That bugeye looked mint.

Private sale, Daktari.

My guitar buddy has somewhere around 8 Reverend guitars at any given time. Sold me one to support his habit (and mine). I only own one acoustic guitar, an old Harmony archtop, and I thought it might be fun to screw around on an electric while I search for that elusive PJ.

Not sure if this is News or not, but I was driving to Indianapolis to Buy a Reverend Avenger Guitar and I Pocket Dialed my former drummers GirlFriend. She was driving around with Joey Naylor! She put him on to Say "HI", and we started talking, and just before he said good bye he mentioned to look for a New Revered Bass mid-2010...

BTW, this $350 Avenger KICKS @$$!!!

+1. I wonder if they'll outsource the pickups though, and whether the craftsmanship will be as good. I'm not a guitar player, so I have no idea what the differences are between the USA and import Revs, but I don't think it would be easy to get as high build quality without the price reflecting that (they can build high quality basses overseas, but they DO cost more to build than the cheap SX and Squiers that they slap together to keep costs low).

I've been thinking of selling my red XL (aka the Dawgfish) but played it last night and wondered what the hell I have been thinking. The tone KILLS!

I wonder how this will affect the value of the American made ones. I have to think it generate interest in the name, thus pushing the price of the originals up. You sure you don't wanna sell your Dawgfish?? :D
