+1. I wonder if they'll outsource the pickups though, and whether the craftsmanship will be as good. I'm not a guitar player, so I have no idea what the differences are between the USA and import Revs, but I don't think it would be easy to get as high build quality without the price reflecting that (they can build high quality basses overseas, but they DO cost more to build than the cheap SX and Squiers that they slap together to keep costs low).
I've been thinking of selling my red XL (aka the Dawgfish) but played it last night and wondered what the hell I have been thinking. The tone KILLS!
