Sorry to stray off the topic of "Dreaming of a new Rev Bass" (I'd buy one in a second BTW) but I've got a general question about the pickups in the Rumblefish and in particular, the PJ model. I'm finding that the pups in mine are super hot. I can't put my volume controls past 6 or 7 without it clipping. The distortion is cool sometimes but if I want distortion I like to control it from my amp not my bass. Would adjusting the height of the magnets in the pups make a difference? I don't have this problem with my JJ fish, only the PJ. The pickups in my 2 fish seem to be a different make too.
what if one had purchased the last 3 Reverend Brad Houser 5 String bass necks...would he be able to post the basses under construction in a Reverend thread?
