Wow,that is a gorgeous 4003! It almost looks like a cross between FG and Autumnglo,just a really fabulous color combination,with the black trim/plastic,too!

Super WOW! Indeed, that may be the "only" one, as I've been curious if any Fireglo was made with BT/BH. And there it is! I may need to get that shot if there is a second edition of the book made (gotta sell out the first edition, first though).

Rescued from a point in time in 87, a Rickenbacker FGBT. I havent been able to find another anywhere on the web. Not even references of one existing.
It sounds and plays almost exactly like my favorite black 89 4003S.
Those are two sweet basses!
It's amazing how good a bass can look if you just take care of it... I have seen some basses that sat in cases for decades which looked far worse than those that were played and maintained.
Ruby is such a killer color!
People on here will probably kill me for this but I want to get it repainted as emerald green. Yeah, I know changing the paint job drops the resell-ability but I never plan on selling this guy. I learned that lesson back when I sold my 1980 Jetglo 4001.
