The Rumor of Paul

It must have been that long walk home when Paul decided to pursue a career in music.

It was during that long walk when Paul came up with the lyrics "Get back to where you once belonged" (referring to the planet he came from of course).

Well, the truth will be revealed when you track down and buy a vinyl-player (aka "turntable"), the appropriate vinyl, and then play the vinyl backwards.

White Album, Revolution Number Nine. "Number Nine" sounds like "Turn me on, deadm'n".

The "Paul is dead" rumor/controversy started up while the Beatles were still together, like 1968 or so. There have been several confirmed sightings of him since then.

There are many websites dedicated to this topic. They claim that Paul died in a car accident in 1966 and was replaced by someone who won a look-alike contest. Some sites have pictures of Paul and his alleged replacement Billy Shears. The claim that Paul's height changed and differences in facial features such as the shape and size of ears are pointed out as evidence that Paul was replaced. It makes for an interesting story but the possibility of finding someone else who looks and sounds like Paul and also plays bass left handed seems very far fetched to me. I also think that it would be close to impossible to keep the truth hidden for almost 50 years.

Not only is Paul dead, but he assassinated JFK, faked the moon landing, and his double was responsible for the coverup at Area 51. Or was that Studio 51? I can never remember.
