Atypical, not a typical...
So, most of you know for a while now, I have been Jonesing for one of these...

I finally worked a deal for one. However the user (TB member) does not have a paypal account and wants a money order.

Under normal circumstances, he would request the cash before the product ships.

Since I am receiving the product, and the user stated I sound trustworthy, he is going to ship out the box, and wants me to send him a money order after receipt.

I wanted the effects forum to be aware of the deal. The user is going to send me the pedal, and I will return the favor by paying $400 plus actual shipping (marked on the box) to the user.

The name of the most trust worthy user I have ever met is AlunJWDavies.

I sent an email to him, asking him to post in this forum, and keep everyone up to date, to keep all concerned parties honest.

Thanks Bongo for replying. I wanted to make sure some veterins got a chance to know the situation. I wanted the community to be aware, so if something happened (I.E. I never sent him the money) that you would all be aware.

Obviously, I would not do that, considering I started the thread, but I wanted to make him feel as easy and comfortable about this deal.

Yea. I have been waiting with baited breath for this pedal. I had an SYB-3, and I tried an EHX Bass Synth, but I wanted an SB-1.

I have been playing with a few filters, BaseBalls, Moog, and what not, and thought a synth would help alot too.

We will see.

I am off to the post office now. I'm glad this box is going to a good home. I just never use the thing and Kaputsport is just one of many of you who are dying to have one of these. I've only used it twice in 6 years though!:)
I wonder if we'll see these on "Antiques Road Show" in twenty years?

Alun
