The Simpsons Tapped Out

There is a new update in the Google Play store. I just saw it. I am installing it now. I have a feeling you are right. I doubt we'll get credit for all the levels we passed during this time.

*Edit. I just finished the install and the update synced. I forgot what everything looks like green, so it is weird seeing my town back to normal. All the snow is gone, and I am still on level 37. :(

Lousy. While I'm glad to see that Spring is here in Springfield, as someone who is on Level 37 I'm disappointed. I bought a plot of land and stuck all my Xmas and Halloween stuff there. Cletus is going to leave his Christmas lights on all year. Frickin' hillbillies!

Lame. I'm losing interest in this game. I was half holding out getting a Windows Phone just because they didn't have this game on it, but now I'm not so concerned.

I wonder if there is a market for selling TSTO accounts like there is for other games.

Too bad they won't go back and credit me for level 38, that I passed by three levels ago.

*Edit, I take that back. I just logged in and got bumped to level 38. Sweet! Thanks TSTO dev's.

I got the Greenpeace boat, and started building the grocery store.

That stupid rigged spinwheel almost ruined the whole game for me.

Omg, this. I REALLYREALLYREALLY wanted the ClausCo building you get from the wheel. Every day, I clicked my presents and clicked my friends' towns and spun every chance I got and that lousy wheel gave me nothing. On the LAST day, I spun my last spin and ... Still... Nothing.

:sigh:

After, my wife grabs my iphone, spends 50 donuts on 10 spins, and wins me the ClausCo, the helter shelter, and the yeti.

I was so happy! She got me the one thing I wanted, other bonus quality stuff. I was soo happy!

Without spending any real money, I believe I've gone as far as I can freebie-wise. Yes, that's my new word.

I unlocked Barney's special costume on the wheel (thinking it was Barney himself), but not paying to build the Bowling building and Barney. Same goes for all the other characters, buildings, etc., requiring donuts.

By lapping level 37 three times, I should have been credited up to lvl 40:roll no:

I'm right there with you. Especially the part on Barney from the wheel. I was excited when I won it, then bummed.

I'm at about 90 donuts now that I have earned from playing the game.

Have you spent any donuts yet? I have 99 as of last night and have not spent any yet.

Anyone have thoughts as to the best way to spend donuts? I see a few items that increase the cash or XP from jobs, so they seem like the best bet.

I've spent donuts on a couple of those +cash/+xp items. I've spent 30 donuts on Squeaky Voice kid and Bumble Bee Man. Bumble Bee man is great:he unlocks the 24 hr option at the News building. Also, like BBMan's quests, the 24hour option yields 30% more cash.

I had over 70k gift cards and never got the Yeti...oh well, I'm not too terribly upset at that.

I actually bought a couple golden scratchers and on one of them hit the jackpot so I ended up with enough donuts and bought Jimbo and Kearney. I still have a little over 80.
