I have an SR505 so I knew I'd like this stick, but I like it more than anticipated. The phone pic doesn't do the color and finish on this guitar justice...its just a thing of beauty. That ultra-thin fast neck is a killer for me as I don't have orangutan hands. Only jerked around with it for a half hour, the guitar was set up almost perfectly which surprised me as I had to play around with my 505 for a while to get it playable.

Only paid $599 brand new from Guitar Center with a 20% off coupon they emailed to me a week ago. Not too shabby! LOL!

As a lifetime Fender guy, and I have plenty of Jazz & P bases, I gotta say I believe I've found a new fave!

Excuse the Epi Viola in the back. Was in a Beatles mood last night and brought this up from the man cave bass collection to play.

I had that exact same bass and you're right - pictures just can't capture the color. Dazzling.

That's the prettiest Epi violin bass I have ever seen. Amazing grain!

I had to get rid of my German Warwick corvette :( but I picked up a Ibanez sr755 as it's replacement :) input it's welcome, I know not to much about this bass, but it's sweet.

As you can see by my Avatar I own one. I tune mine EADGC and have got a lot of use out of it. It has Bartolini MK1 pickups which aren't anything to get excited about - they are a bit thin, but that works well for this tuning. However, the fit and finish on mine is nice and the neck is the best of any bass I've owned. Couldn't be any better. Very comfortable to play too. All in all a very nice bass.

Thank you sir! I haven't even gotten to mess with it too much because I've been at work, but I like it a lot. To be honest I like the way the Warwick felt like it was built better, but that's probably because the Ibanez is much lighter. Are these knobs on mine stock?

That a beautiful Ibby! Congratulations! I too bought my first Ibby back in Dec. 2013, SR375F which is fretless. I'm very impressed with the quality of the fit/finish and tone. Have fun playing it! :bassist:

I got a used one just like it last month. Plays great, sounds great. Funny thing is all the complements I've gotten on how pretty it is. Wednesday night at choir practice we were finishing up. The director was about to pray and one of the older ladies says, "Wait a minute, I need to hear about this bass Les is playing. It's beautiful." Then everybody wanted to see it and people were walking up on the way out to check it out. My basses have never got that kind of attention and I've got some pretty basses. I actually thought it was kind of generic looking.
