The architect who designed it, Jørn Utzon, came across The Orb of Merriment and Music one day while dumpster diving in Cooper Pedy. A profit appeared to him as his ex girlfriend Penelope and revealed to him the blueprints of the opera house.
Saw Star Trek The Motion Picture last night. Great movie. Last time I saw it was probably the 80's on VHS.
I found this book recently in the "movies & entertainment" section of a book store. Coffee-table size, with loads of pics and cool info:
I thought when the Enterprise flew into the V'ger alien spaceship the visual effects weren't too bad.

That movie, Star Trek The Motion Picture, got a lot of hate as I recall. But I enjoyed it. I recently rewatched it, having purchased the entire set of Star Trek movies and still enjoyed it.
