I found this podcast that's really good.
A group of guys, one of whom never saw any ST, and they go episode by episode. They're funny. It's a good format. I like a well formatted podcast. Good stuff.

The new Star Trek 90210 (kids in Starfleet school) series started Jan 15. Did anyone watch it?

We watched the first episode of the new series last night. I'm started to see why @Gorn hates all the new Star Trek series.
I don't have streaming so it may be a while before I see it. I like Paul Gia... however you spell it. He was great in Private Parts and the few other things I've seen. I just don't know about the rest of the show. Keep us posted (without spoilers if possible). Thanks.
I play Roku Pluto's Trek channel almost every day, during the day, just as background noise. I happened to notice that they were playing the first episode of the new Trek Starfleet Academy series just now.

I watched the first 2 episodes, I was expecting the worst, but it wasn't awful. I'll watch more for now.

We saw episode two last night. It was pretty bad. Will we watch the rest of the series? Who can say.
I wonder if Paramount will kill, or maybe just enpoopify, Star Trek on purpose for being "woke"? I sure hope not. It's in the news, but I'm unclear whether we can even talk about it here because now it's "political".
