You have some details mixed up there. They were in the mirror universe. An alternate reality first visited on the original series. DS9 had a few episodes there. And then Discovery did half their first season there. But yeah those Enterprise episodes were cool. I like the DS9 episodes. The events of that universe are pretty interesting.
Oh right! Of course...I love that original story...Spock with the Goatee and sexy Uhura

Bakula makes some bizarre acting choices in that one. There's one line where he says “great men are not heroes, great men are conquerors” with this weird neck tilt half yelling thing. That was his way of portraying evil and ambitious. It was weird.

Uhura is sexy in every universe.

I could never really take him seriously as a Captian....he is no Kirk....or Picard

I liked him as captain for the most part. Except season three where he was angry all the time. It was understandable in the context of the story but it got old fast. It’s a shame because that season is what killed the show. Star Trek today would be very different if Enterprise had gone on for seven seasons. It was never gonna happen though. JJ Trek appeals to the masses in a way that Real Trek never could. The masses want punching and explosions and good story telling can go **** itself.

I just started back watching t.v. after refusing to be consumed by it over 40yrs ago. Now I got a 42'' flat-screen t.v. with easily over 1000 channels and here's the deal. I've seen...
1. A female Captain Kirk.
2. A African-American Captain Kirk.
3. A African-American Mr. Spock.
4. A female Klingon chief engineer officer? (not bad looking either).
5. A computer generated Dr. McCoy.
6. Some useless hot babe on the bridge (have not figured out what she does-probably smells nice tho).
7. Another smoking hot chick on another(?) bridge but this one seems to be half machine. Not sure.
8. Oh yeah,There's this one captain that's a politician or some kind of universe ambassador.
9. ...and he has a robot Mr. Spock.
10. ...Same show has a blind guy (but can see with 3-d goggles) African-American chief engineer.
NOTE; Didn't see no humans falling in love with beautiful aliens- I'm sure they wrote some episodes.
BTW-I have not been stranded on a deserted island, in a cave, comatose or prison and I've already unplugged it and the cable box and went back to my radio but it was interesting seeing the changes made from the original-I'm just not a t.v. person anymore.

Hahaha....That's a hilarious observation....But true

From what I saw, the Tarantino Trek won't have our beloved characters from ANY past or current series, (Kelvin or Prime) which is a good thing. We will still have the Federation of Planets, but that will be about it. Different ship, crew and attitude, even darker than Discovery.
