and also: did you try it with an 12AY or 12AU tubes ?

The main advantage to Greenhouse is that it's a tube FX loop, so it's not putting tube a tube stage before the pedal or after it, it's putting tube stages around it, so you have one before the loop and one after the loop. I don't have any experience with the Capo personally, but the way I like to think about it is that a tube before your preamp will affect the feel, a tube after your preamp will affect the tone. More will give you one or the other, Greenhouse will give you both.

I tried it with 12AU7 because I regularly stock those, but it felt like the output level was too low. I don't regularly stock 12AY7 tubes so I haven't tried them in Greenhouse.

Most likely a stupid question but if someone in the US orders a PCB kit from Musik-Ding do they have to pay 15000% duty on it ?
How would anyone know where Musk-Ding got their PCB's from if they don't declare it ?
Maybe there is someone smart enough to get around the new charges by repacking the goods and forwarding them with just a small surcharge added, what countries have the lowest tariffs applied to them ?
I doubt if the US could set up brand new manufacturing plants and sell anything cheaper then importing them in less then 4 years, and who would risk it with a big chance in 4 years someone else will scrap the import tariffs that are now applied.

My guess would be that in the process of repackaging the PCB into a kit, Musikding then declares the "kit" as a single line item on the customs declaration with Germany as the country of origin.

If someone like Musik Ding sold at wholesale prices for bulk they could send a box of 100 PCB's in one box and one box of 100 1590BB enclosures in another box, label it as one wholesale German origin order and send it to the US with a lot smaller tariff ?
Someone will figure out a workaround eventually for the tariffs I'm sure, how could anyone work out the tariff on a Mouser order where everything originated in a different country, and Mouser has shops all over the place to muddy the trail.

I personally run a Broughton BBA at the beginning of my my chain (24 db/octave @ 25hz) and a variable HPF at the end (12 db/octave @ 80-125hz), then boost bass downstream on my amp.

This is good information that I don't believe I have seen anywhere else yet.

Broughton Audio's BBA page doesn't show at the moment that there is an 24db/octave slope @ 25 Hz. That is pretty substantial whereas the Thumpinator is 36dB/octave at 25 Hz which is extreme. In that case, with both using a cut off at 25 Hz it seems to me that both solutions are dealing with sub and infrasonics and not the slop and boom we hear from my bass. They will save my speakers from over excursion so there is that important part.

Back on topic: I'm looking forward to putting my dirt into a Greenhouse loop and hearing what that does to it.

I think Senior Sushi said you can overdrive the second tube stage, post loop, and it happens before the volume control. So, you can turn it into a tube overdrive, using the boost in the loop as the gain and the GH volume as the output volume.

I'm not sure what to do with my More, it's currently at the end of my home board behind a Slampegg. It just doesn't seem to do much. Maybe place it somewhere else? Roll in 12AX7s? Replace it with a different SushiBox? It's just too subtle for my taste as demonstrated by the Thunderbirds.

This was my exact experience. From where I listen, more is a clean boost, whose effect is mainly a subtle accentuation of high end frequencies. I never heard any benefit that would be meaningful in a mix so I sold mine.
