I tried a JCM 900 through a bass cab once a long time ago. Emphasis on the once. Not only was it woefully underpowered for the situation, but There was not nearly enough low end and it was extra crispy. Even with the bass and mids dimed and treble almost all the way down, I couldn’t get it to sound like a bass amp. It was fun for practice but not the answer I was hoping for in that band. Also JC Emerald is brighter than I remembered it being, so if anyone wants it exclusively for bass I'm afraid I may have to do a special bass version of it. It still sounds good as-is, and maybe someone out there will think it's already perfect, but I personally like a really warm, mellow tone, and this has a lot of bite to it.
Not yet, but it's been mentioned to me. I'll have a look.Have you looked at any old Marshall bass amp circuits to compare component values? The Superbass might be what I’m thinking of?
I don't need one, but gosh do I want one.Alright, at least one of these is bound to work. V0.1a has the SVT-CL ultra-lo switch, V0.1b has the vintage SVT ultra-low switch, and V0.1c has the B-25 ultra-lo switch.

Well, if it helps subside your gas, I don't think slots are reopening until August.I mean, out of, GAS for these two, before I really try to decide which one to try first and sign up for a slot ..
That just makes it worse lol. I figure, well, I can sign up for a slot and change my mind ....Well, if it helps subside your gas, I don't think slots are reopening until August.
The actual slots are purchased through the Shop page. Currently, there are no reservation slots open for purchase. That just makes it worse lol. I figure, well, I can sign up for a slot and change my mind ....
Yup, I've ordered a few from Mr. Box and I know the processThe actual slots are purchased through the Shop page. Currently, there are no reservation slots open for purchase.
Sometime in the next 2 months, Sushi will open up August slots (somewhere between 20-40 probably), and that's when you can purchase something to be built in August.
So for better or worse, you have to wait a month or two before you can even sign up for a slot
(FYI there's some good stuff on the FAQ page, not just about the order process: https://www.sushiboxfx.com/faq)
Yup, I've ordered a few from Mr. Box and I know the processthe fact that there are no slots available doesn't help lol
Hahahah this is the best thing I've read all evening! I'm still waiting to quell my unreasonable GAS on the yet unannounced secret pedalI mean, you now have way too much time to listen to all the samples and decide that you need one of everything and build a dedicated board called the Sushi Boat. I'd suggest a Cioks DC7 + C8e expansion to power said boat.

You're gonna announce a new pedal that can't even be ordered for a few months....Man, that's harsh....It took about 4 minutes to explain to my wife why this was funny, but it was worth it, thank you for that
SBVT should be pretty cool, I'm excited for it. Dr. Wattson and Sunnday Drive are two of my favorites, both very flexible and cover a lot of territory on both guitar and bass.
I don't know when I'll be opening ordering next, I will of course let everyone know when I do. Part of my break from building will be working to make manufacturing more efficient, so it won't be a straight vacation from pedals.
The secret surprise pedal (literally 3 people know about it) will hopefully be ready for announcement in a week or so.
Well no actually, even worse. I'm going to announce a new limited run pedal that won't be available for preorder and will only be sold when they are actually availableYou're gonna announce a new pedal that can't even be ordered for a few months....Man, that's harsh....
