The knobs are so brightly colored they kinda dominate the look because the artwork colors are muted so I guess I agree with Mrs Sushi . The white box suggestion might be a great middle ground solution too ..... Either way - it seems like an EQ pedal to me - working from growl ; lows ]to hiss [ highs ] . I didn't see a " litter box " setting so hard to say how "dirty " it'll get ! LOL ..... Kelly
The rainbow knobs complete the look perfectly. I also think printing on a white box will help it pop more.

Also the TrueTone power supplies should do it. Just ignore the labels on the ports, they have to put something on there due to regulations. So their 100ma port would actually deliver 500ma easily.
My Godlyke Powerall says it delivers 2A of current and I've never had any trouble using it.
Even my super old Dunlop DC Brick seems to have enough juice to power the single tube pedals.

SH runs happily on my 1 Spot Pro CS 6 which is running 8 pedals in total.
I'll second the Cioks DC7, mine is currently running 8 tubes total.
You should make a center positive special edition UAX just to mess with us.
I mean any Sushi Box pedal made within the last 18 months or so can handle center positive, center negative, or apparently even AC, it would be pretty cruel of me to limit it. I got tired of having pedals ruined by people accidentally using the wrong supply, so I said enough is enough, now there's no such thing as the wrong supply (as long as it's a 2.1mm barrel plug and within the voltage range).

I think a speaker emulator in a DI box is a useful thing to have. I also understand wanting to be able to run the preamp affected output to the 1/4" unbalanced output. Would there be any practical scenario where you would want a speaker emulator on the preamp affected signal to 1/4" unbalanced output?
The thought here being you may want to run the DI signal to the PA and use the unbalanced preamp signal straight into an amp. So you wouldn't need a speaker emulated signal going to your amp, right?

I think that makes sense to me, but I can't speak for everyone as to whether or not there's benefit to having it on the 1/4" preamp out as well. If you're looking at your Meatsmoke design, I think he had separate 1/4" jacks for straight preamp output and a "speaker sim" output.
I would also suggest the speaker sim being switchable on the DI, if it's to be included.
