I have one of these, gotta dig it out, I've had it forever.
So everything has been shipped, and I'm officially out of 1/4" jacks so I won't be building anything else for a bit. I'm taking the night off tonight as Mrs. Sushi and I are in Milwaukee for a concert, but tomorrow I plan to dig in full-time to the stack of repairs I still have on the bench. Once those are completed I will get back into polishing the pending handwired designs and Gondwana.
Hi!, I'm new to Sushi Box, but just investigated a little about your awesome pedals and I'm looking forward to order a Space Heather to heat up my bass tone in this dark times of no amps on stage.
Sorry to ask here if there is posted somewhere else or this is not the correct place, but when will you be opening preorder slots for March?

I'm not certain, but I think March will be an off month, with no orders available until April. However, there is a prebuilt Space Heater available on the website, so you can get one right now.
No. I snagged it right after it became available.
April build slots should probably become available sometime in March.

Being a le to see what is in stock in the overview would be a great feature.
I think we talked about that at one point, don't remember what happened to it. Currently there is nothing in stock, everything that was in stock sold out. I will have a Dr. Wattson and SBVT in stock soon, but due to the great 1/4" jack shortage that will be all I will be able to get in stock.
I am planning to open April ordering sometime in early March. I would ideally like to verify all the handwired versions before opening ordering, but worst case scenario I would only make some of the handwired versions available until I can verify the rest.
Oh and before I forget, the show last night was really good, that's why I slept until noon today. No pedals or amps in sight, but Imagine Dragons' bassist plays Sadowsky.

My wife was working that show as a stagehand. She gets to see all of the good shows and get paid for them while I sit at home like a sucker playing bass

First time out with the finally at church as my IEM board I made just for this reason.

Well, now that I’ve had some time with my 2 new pedals and have gotten them incorporated into my setup and dialed in….
The Underground Accelerator is absolutely amazing. There is not a bad sound to be had in this preamp. It’s honestly a “where has this thing been all my life” preamp. I love it. It just sounds huge, with loads of clean low end on tap.
The JC Emerald also sounds stupid good, but very different. It’s a little shyer on low end, but not in a bad way. I’m running a Mesa 610 cab sim after it in my Helix, and that actually adds plenty of extra bottom anyway. But the coolest thing about it, for me, is that I was able to closely mimic the tone I was getting from my YYZ pedal, but with more depth and character, if that makes sense? I’m really digging this one too, and I think it’s going to be an amazing brighter, grinding rock preamp for me.

It's looking like I'm going to be changing footswitch suppliers. Of the batch of repairs I've gotten recently the majority have been due to noisy footswitches, and it seems to be a mechanical issue with the footswitches themselves as other identical builds of the same circuit do not have the same behavior. So if you've sent me a pedal recently for a noisy footswitch fix, I apologize for the delay but I need to get some footswitches in from a different supplier to replace these ones.
This is approaching the level of inconvenience where I'm considering switching to soft switch/relay bypass so I don't have to deal with questionable mechanical switches. I got to a point of frustration last night where I had to put everything down and walk away for a bit, which doesn't happen often.
So I apologize to everyone that is still waiting on repairs and mods, this has been an unplanned delay and I will get it dealt with as soon as I can.

so you know - soft switches are far from perfect either. I paid a premium to a TB builder for years for relay bypass switches and they are some of the ones that pop the most in my setup. Quality is quality and crap is crap. If I absolutely had to choose, I’d probably opt for soft switching but really I’d just prefer quality switching.
