Sunday night I'll be leaving on a trip for my day job, so Sunday and Monday I'm not sure how much I'll get done. Depending on how long meetings go it looks like I may get to spend a few hours in Nashville on Monday though, so that's neat. Always wanted to check that place out.

Skip the Nashville Hot Chicken and go straight for the BBQ. I'm outta touch - used to be there a lot. Ask a local who the top dogs on the BBQ scene are. Triangulate. Get 3 hits on one spot... go there ;-)

So the good news is I will have a couple hours there for hanging out and late lunch/early dinner before the flight. The bad news is I checked with the team and we only have two cars between 6 people so I will be driving non-musicians around who probably won't care about things like the musicians hall of fame mesueum. Oh well. Should at least be able to talk them into some solid barbecue.

Well I haven't had time to dig into SMD Smoke Signal II so that will have to wait another month (hopefully no more). It's close so I'm tempted to release it, but I know it's better to wait and make sure everything is hammered out. I did have a chance to thoroughly check out HW Dr. Wattson and HW Smoke Signal, so those will be available for ordering. Also I've been talking with @lightningboy and transformers are back on the menu, so I will be able to offer both SMD and HW Finally for the May batch.

I was able to reorganize the workshop to get the UV printer away from the furnace, but I still haven't had a chance to get the new CNC controller put together, so that will be a hold-up for April until I get it done. I'm still aiming for tonight, but if it looks like it's going to take a while I may just save it until after my business trip.

Oh yeah... Gruhn Guitars (which had Phil Lesh's Mission Control bass on display when I last visited, whew) and Carter Vintage Guitars are trouble for the budget. Carter had the nicest-playing fretless I'd ever laid hands on. For $3500 as it was a Roscoe owned by Gary Tallent of the E Street Band, so I managed not to whip out my card for it.

I do like the chicken there though! But in Atlanta we've got Hattie B's, so I've got Nashville hot chicken up the street from me.

@Sushi Box FX I got to spend a day there last year and had a blast. I enjoyed the Johnny Cash Museum a lot. Really fun city, enjoy your trip!

You know what, sure. That would look cool. Talkbass Secret Society exclusive. If you order a lab rat (HW or SMD) in white with simple graphics and leave me a note, I can do the printing in red.

I just opened up ordering for May, so that's almost good to go. I accidentally deleted Slampegg and Smoke Signal, I'm getting them back in now. Once I've confirmed that I haven't completely ruined everything I'll send out an email to let everyone know, but obviously you all get to know first, because otherwise what's the point of a secret society?

Well it looks like @Sonicblaze has given me too much power and I've broken the website. Orders are coming through with zero customer information and shipping information. Fortunately both orders that have come in were through paypal so I at least have a name and an email address, but we're shutting down ordering temporarily until we can fix whatever I broke.

Ahh, yup, nothing on that page. I'll be honest, I had to go through an order and specifically look for it to remember where they shove that thing by default.

I updated a bunch of stuff, and my test orders went through fine/with customer details, so ordering should be good again
