The Sushi Box FX Secret Society

Excuse me if I am being an idiot (again!) and just can't find something on a website, but is there anyplace on the Sushi Box website, here on TalkBass, or elsewhere, to see what the various enclosure options look like? Raw, white, and matte black I can pretty much envision, but what does a "Rainbow's End" enclosure look like? And where can I see/compare the "full color artwork" to "simple artwork?"

Thanks in advance for the assist.

Rainbows end is just black with a sparkle flake in it. Slampegg that I have shown below.

Full art v simple. For most of those I think the full art is pictured. Simple is just the text version of the pedal. For example my Slampegg is simple. The full art one has honeycomb on it.

In general if you scroll through this thread, the Sushi Box webpage, or the Sushi Box instagram, you will find most of the colors/art.

Thanks! That was actually one of the "simple art" examples I wanted to see, as I have a HW Slampegg (white, simple) and a HW Lab Rat (white, full color) on order.

Thanks again!

I'm planning on ordering a Slampegg in the May batch. Should I plan on receiving pedal in May or June? Does ordering the HW version take much longer? Thank you.
Pending any huge unforseen circumstances, Sushi advertises to have them completed by the 10th of the following month. Usually they are earlier than that, but if it goes past that for <component, bug, etc> reason he's good at communicating what and why.

The handwired versions take him longer to build, but that's accounted for in the advertised 10th-of-next-month date. While there's 40 build slots for the month, he purposesly limits the number of Handwired to ~20-25 to keep that extra time from overly stacking up.

(And for anyone new to the thread, there's a few other commen questions answered in the FAQ, like the SMD vs Handwired differences, some power supply recommendations, etc: FAQ – Sushi Box FX)

--the slave webadmin behide @Sushi Box FX 's madness of a website; I'll bug him for more pictures of everything :) he's on a work trip so may be slow to respond here but I'll try and keep up with things I know!

I don't know if this is possible, but if either the image of the pedal you are spec-ing could change, itself, as you select different options (raw/white/black/rainbow, full/simple), or at least have images of examples of each readily available or "connected" in some way with the selection options, that would be super cool!

Looking at the Echosauraus, I see the option for Handwired. Is that really a thing?
Crap, forgot to get rid of that. That is not a thing.
I mean there's wires, and he does them by hand... :D @Sushi Box FX I took care of the rest of that cleanup

It's sort-of possible. The sheer number of options makes it a bit impossible to do it for every-combo for every-pedal, but I'll think through some ideas as I get more photos. I do something sort-of-like-that on my own site; pick your color, then if you chose a label, you can pick from all of the different label colors:

I seem to recall the old website had a decent catalogue of photos of different finish options. Did that make it over to the new website?

@tombowlus, I've never seen a photo of Rainbows End that actually does it justice.

That is what I was looking for...
I do still have a lot of those photos, but between tubes changing (Mini to X), layouts changing, the concept of full-art vs simple artwork, the actual available finishes changing, and Sushi actually changing the clear overcoat finishes he uses, a lot of them didn't make sense to use anymore unfortunately. But I'll ensure ya'll are heard, @Sushi Box FX should start taking copious amounts of new pictures for everything :) I'll get the spreadsheet started again we used to use to track what was needed.
That said, if you have a professional-looking high definition photo that you are OK allowing to be used as SushiBox FX media, DM it to me or tag me when you post it in this thread and I'll pull it for posting!

*If we don't use a photo, please don't take it personally. The layout or backdrop maybe doesn't look good against the site background, the ratio of pedal-to-scenery doesn't let me crop it to fit nicely, Sushi has a photo he'd rather use to fit in-line with other photo styles, etc, it just might not fit good; but I know the thread will still appreciate all the photos!
