I ordered a Dr Wattson too, even after I made peace with not making a June order due to lack of tubes/finish options. I lasted a good 10 minutes from when I saw that tubes and all finish options we’re still available. I’m so proud of myself, going to try for 20 minutes next time!

Then there were 9....Order placed for a HW UA.....then I will be able to A/B it with the regular version. I ordered with no tube....whereas I used to look at my li'l box o' unused tubes and think "what a waste to have some bucks tied up and unused in the form of preamp vacuum tubes", now I'm feelin' like I found an unexpected twenty in my jeans pocket

I am ready to support another music-related revenue rivulet in this troubled economy..........the niche exists.......

A Finally is quite tempting because I've wanted a tube DI for a long time now, but I'd also like to wait to see where the Fancy DI lands, and give Sushi a chance to shake out any bugs with it before I make a decision.

Yeah that was one of the deciding factors for me, especially since I plan on getting the Wattson at a later date. As for now I prefer less knobs, and needed the cheaper option with a second child not far from being here and also being married to a murderous wife (mostly bc of my spending habits). She thinks bass is bass and that it’s nonsensical to try and make it sound any different (though she was astounded at the difference between the markbass head I sold and replaced with an Ampeg pf50t…conveniently forgotten I might add).

Shirts are still available on Teepublic, though I think the prices are a bit high. I get a cut (I think $6 per shirt) but I wish I could set prices. If anyone knows of another option I would be happy to look into it Sushi Box Logo by sushi-box-fx

Just finished first service toady at church and used my "Simple” setup, as the set list called for it. Used my Fender P with TI Flats and the mini pedalboard with tuner -> Keeley Bassist -> Space Heater -> DSM/Humbolt Simplifier and I just can say Wow!!!

The SH sounded amazing through my headphones at home practice, but hearing it through the PA is a totally different experience.

My tone is so full and round, but at the same time really fat (in a good way). I’m using the 4x10 vented Cab Sim and the result is amazing. Thank you @Sushi Box FX for this amazing pre. Ordering the second one (maybe handwired) for my main pedalboard.
