This is the first sweepstakes-like thing I have entered in, oh, probably 20 years. Usually you have to provide your home address, phone number(s), email address, etc., and submitting an entry pretty much guarantees that you will receive mountains of junk mail, spam email, and solicitation phone calls for the remainder of your natural life (and probably longer, though these presumably become less annoying afterwards). And you don't receive this stuff just from the company running the promotion, but also the dozens or hundreds of other companies they sell your information to. Kudos to D'Addario for doing this one the way they did!

Got D'addario NYXL's on three of my basses, Chromes on three other basses, and black nylon flats on my fretless. I entered but you may want to give them to someone else who doesn't already use and love your strings!

Not sure if anyone can answer this definitively, but what are the main differences between Flex Steels and NYXLs?

Very cool. I have some NYXL strings on a guitar and they are very nice! There's something special about them. Can't quite put my finger on it (not literally, though).
