Id do it just for the strings.
I applaud the OT mods for their job, of all the forums here, the BG OT section has the most edgy content. I have seen many threads that could be closed "just to be safe" stay open and have great dialogs. Every decision a Mod makes will be criticized by someone.
I have made some crass jokes but never recieved so much as a warning, maybe I am tamer than I thought but I had a genital peircing thread I made go on with no problem whatsoever.
As for Maki's situation, there are always some who will push the envelope. These folks are the catalyst for evolution and change, he along with many others accept the risk of their actions but refuse to repress who they are and what they have to say. This is where there is a pushing and pulling with the mods to create a balance of freedom of expression and fairness to all of the members here who may be offended by said freedoms. I don't see it as opposite sides in a battle but more of a complicated dance between two parties with differing views. After emailing Maki it seems as though he is not harboring any ill will towards the Mods and accepting his lumps.

There is a specific section for forum questions titled, ironically, "Forum Questions".
I never even knew about that section until you just now mentioned it. Next time that's definitely where im going.
