I think it's a great idea. I'm in the t-shirt business and print stuff like this all the time. I think that the fact there's only two venues on the tour make it even better.
We have done this decades ago, but ours were done in jest. We pressed a very limited amount (enough for the players and band wives) up World Tour Tees for one gig in a very small supper club back in the 80’s.
It was for the Gunn Brother World Tour 1984. Had our name on the back, like Tommy, Ray, Pop, and such. After the show we had a lot of orders. Go figure.
Go for it...! You can use the tour dates (advertising for the venue) as a selling point for your band. All the bars will want to be on your shirt !
i love them when done as a joke by smaller bands. went to a local show by story of the year (who has gone platinum) and they were only doing 3 local complete album play-through concerts. they did the tour shirt and in small print at the top of the tour list they just put the 3 local shows, same venue, with all blank space underneath. loved it.
For some reason, people really love the name of my band, so I'm doing shirts and we're selling them to people all over the place who have never even heard us. I just ordered a new bunch of T-shirts and maybe next month when I have more money to spend I'll get some little trinkets made that won't be expensive to sell.I have friends in a dadband, who do t-shirts (and pins, decals and rebranded wine bottles).
They have a loyal, but not so big following who buys their stuff. The fans wear the shirts to gigs, put stickers on their cars and such.
It will never make them rich, but they do it for fun, and it is fun!
I help them with shirt design and I manufacture their stickers and wine labels, so I have a collection of their stuff.
Some bands do stickers but I always wonder what people do with them. Occasionally you see them on a bumper or on the wall in a green room but I don't know how much those really do for you in terms of publicity.
lol good idea, i thought of doing the same thing onetime, go for it 2F!..and why not, we're worth it....nothing wrong with a little self-exploitation, u might even break even on the cost if there's enuf suckers out there..
Had a collection of concert T's, the artwork was nice on some of them and actually had one or two hangin on the wall good memories. And people can have good memories at "any" live event, either way a nice keepsake even if ya do lose a few bucks who cares.

Reminds me of a local band we had around here years ago named “Victim’s Family”.Yes, but list the band as the "cause".
This is my band's T.
The tour dates are on the back, but, because the lettering and background are both black, the dates are invisible. That way we can cancel gigs without having to recall the T's.

I voted “funny.” For me the it works because of the self-deprecating humor of having two or three venues on the back as the “tour.” I would see that on some band members and think: those guys are having fun doing what they do.
It reminds me of this girl I knew in college, who was from a tiny isolated town in NW Missouri and would go around at the big university wearing her senior T-shirt from high school, which had the entire graduating class of four students printed on the back.

Great idea that I will steal as well. We do the dad band t-shirt giveaway thing as well but I love the "Tour" part. I think it is hilarious. In fact, I would like to order one of yours to wear when we gig so people can ask me about a band I have never seen or heard!

I'm thinking more of wizard or Red Sonya graphic with a black metal-esque unreadable band name.
We may have the beginnings of a great t-shirt exchange going.
We have "rehearsal" tomorrow night. (I put it in quotes because we really like to hang out with each other. Some rehearsals are more productive than others.
