The Trashiest Basses ever!

So I just got done looking at the Most Elegant Basses thread and to make those of us who have a long time till we can buy a Ritter, or one of those other crazy expensive basses lets see the worst of the worst. I'm talking fret ends like razors, necks that are 3 kinds of stupid, pickups that sound better after they have been beaten with a hammer, and finishes that look like a 3 year old finger painted them on. Lets see em!

I wish I still had my first bass so I could post it on here. It was a Rouge 4 string with an action so high I could limo under the strings but for $30.00 it was not the worst thing in the world. I had it for 3 months then someone broke into our practice space and took it and a bunch of other really crappy stuff but left all our most expensive gear. Who ever took it did me a favor because after that I went out and bought a Squire Active Deluxe jazz bass and that thing kills it.

Not only did I custom-order this, I actually managed to trade it to somebody a few months ago. He sold it within a month, so there's apparently more of a market for "necks that are 3 kinds of stupid" than anyone would suspect.

Nope, the paint is just that bad. I've mentioned that bass before, it's the one that went under water during Katrina. Turns out that salty flood water and massive amounts of debris isn't too good for a finish

maybe for that part, but the empty J pickup route, 2 input jacks(one non-functional) the fact that it was defretted with no tools other than a pocket knife, and the scratched off Ibanez logo? those all point to trashy

not to mention the 12 unique cracks on the headstock

Technical info:
Construction: 4-vdg screwed neck
Wood neck: one piece of maple
Fretboard: two pieces of maple (used to be 1 piece)
Frets: 9 of them are usable, the others purely decorative
Scale: 34” (864 mm)
Body: different parts of degraded pulp, professianly glued together en connected with metal strips, synthetic pickguard with tiremotive.
Tuners: Gotoh
Bridge: Fender-style, you can't find a bigger piece of crap
Pickups: not even worthy of having a brand name.
Electronics: volume, tone
Miscallanious: good beginning project

And damned, it has already been sold...
