The True Blue Aussie Thread

Actually didn't the Holden Commodore evolve from a Chevy based engine and a big o'l American looking but European made Opel passenger car?

I don't mis by "Bomb-adore" at all. It's nice to park my car nowadays without a vitrual guarantee that someone will try and steal it. Damn that thing did good burnouts though...........

Oz is the only place you can get Bush Spices. (Thanks, Poida!)

Had a beer with an Aussie Sunday- unharmed. Wasn't much
of an Ozfest, we only had one.

Edit: I forgot Tripod, funny band!

1. You're welcome.

2. Don't be confusing us Aussies with the Irish.

3. I did sound for Tripod once. You think they're funny on stage, you should hear them off stage. They had me in stiches while trying to figure out ways to get around the noise meter, typical deal where if the red light stays on for 3 seconds, the power cuts out. They were joking around and being silly in a situation where most musicians mumble and grumble and walk around putting everyone else in a bad mood. Eventually the drummer started smashing his kit as loud as he could to try and intentionally trip it. It was like watching Animal from the muppets, only funnier. Guess what? The noismeter didn't work. The red light was on, but the power didn't cut out. They started mock cheering and running around the room acting like 5 yr olds, dancing on tables and bowing to the noise meter in mock worship. My face went numb from laughter. Best soundcheck I've ever been involved in.
