Sorry man, but the realtor comment hurt bad ;)

Anyway, I do agree with you about these charts being inaccurate, but the way I'm hearing this mic so far seems to be reflected in the chart. I don't see it as a gross distortion of the facts. I'm not saying you're hearing it wrong, but I just don't hear the hyping of bass freqs that you hear. I think it's unusual to hear that kind of low end reproduction from a mic, but it doesn't sound out of line with reality to my ears. Admittedly, though, I don't get to work with a lot of high quality mics on a daily basis. But I can't complain about this one, and a test with a $1000 condenser mic just ain't happenin', so I'm doing the best I can.
Time to pull the trigger on that Vintage Neuman U87 with the
Neve 1073 or 1081 pre you always promised your self and the blow them all to the weeds Jimmy.:D
Crikey a chap can only do his level best!.

Hey cool, I missed this the first time around, played by the rules and got them all right :) Now I want an LMII! To me the difference between it and the B15 is a little extra high-highs, a little tighter bass, and it doesn't quite have the same tube "slur" (listen especially when you slide). Also a tiny bit more shape in the high mids on the B15. But man is it close! You probably couldn't tell much difference live except probably having the LMII come through with a little more clarity.
