The "Two Buck Chuck" appreciation thread

I live on the East Coast so the two buck chuck is actually about 3.29 but for 3 bucks it is a very good wine. I tried other wines in the price range including Foxhorn, Barefoot and other cheapy wines but two buck chuck is the Avatar of the wine industry.

Anyone else like the "Two Buck Chuck" Charles Shaw wines?

The PG is perfect for summertime cookouts and crabs and the Shiraz isn't bad at all for pizza & such. It really can't be beat at the price.

i don't drink wine (i've tried. way sensitive to the taste of alcohol) and my wife doesn't really prefer the taste of the chuck, but we still buy it cause it's awesome to cook with. reduce some beef drippings with some red wine and you got yourself an amazing steak sauce

For drinking, I think its better the day after you open it, at least the reds that I have tried.

Its probably my favorite wine to cook with though.
