The Valenti Megathread Part IV

Hang onto that preamp... but if you want to turn loose of it, drop me a line!
I have it out. It's still connected to the control plate and I only touched the four solders for the pickups and the one for the bridge ground. So it's an easy drop-in for somebody.

To your point, I may hold it a while in case it winds up in a project. Otherwise I'll let you know.

Thank you.

Consider me a buyer if you should choose to part with it.

Testing the waters with this post... I'm considering turning loose of my Shoreline Gold Valenti 5'er = alder body, asymmetrical neck, stainless vintage-size (6230) frets, East Indian rosewood board, 34", 19mm spacing, Nordy 3b pre + Nordy Fat Stacks. Switching includes a midrange boost (ala the Will Lee Sadowsky) and a single-coil/humcanceling switch for the Fat Stacks.

Nothing at all wrong with it, but... [sigh]... it's just not getting the playtime these days.

See post #1748 in this thread for more info and specs. Only things that have changed are 1) I've strung it with La Bella DTFs and 2) I sent the parchment pickguard to MJT to have them make it more aged and stanky (not shown in photos)

PM me to start a conversation. Thanks, all!
