Thanks for posting. It’s got me needing to post my Valenti #198 which has been my #1 for most of the last ten years (?).
The fretboard is gorgeous. Super light and it’s definitely got a bite.

You can see that I need to have a new nut cut. When I put on new Thomastik flats the A string sits low sand buzzes even after a set up. The paper does trick for now.

Rescued #227 from a GC in Baton Rouge, and it was actually near mint 
Just needed a little cleaning and conditioning before set up. It’s definitely impressive, an amazingly well-crafted guitar. The neck and fret work feel superb. Had only read about Valenti and this special run on TB prior so really stoked to get my hands on one. The AG 4J60s sound good, and I’ve got a set of alnico 2 Tone Hatch pickups on order for it that will warm it up some

This bass…….This Bass always delivers.
I played a church event tonight in a large sanctuary with an amazing sound system.
The sound tech- “That’s the best bass I’ve ever heard. Every note from top to bottom was clear and distinct and sat in the mix so well.”
The drummer- “That bass sounds great. It made the pocket so warm.”
Worship Leader- “I love love that bass.”
Nino built this bass for me in 2017 and it’s such a blessing to play. The neck feels like an extension of my hand and the electronics are so flexible.
A lot of basses have come and gone since but my one constant and most requested is “BIG PINK”

I was debating modifying my Japanese Geddy Lee to Nordstrand Big Singles to make a super jazz bass when I saw it in the classifieds here and fell head over heels in want with it. A super-er Jazz bass with everything already done. Beast and so versatile.
Just wondering, when it says that the body size is reduced on some models, just exactly how much smaller is it?
