I have wanted a 5-string P-bass for years and have waited forever for G&L to make a 5-string version of there SB-2. Well after many years of being let down from G&L because they have never produced one (by the way I am a big fan of G&L basses) I figured I would have too go elsewhere. I tried many Fender 5-string P-basses from there cheap-o stuff thru there Custom shop stuff and have hated every piece I have tried.
After getting my second hand Valenti #037 it has quickly risen to my #1 player in my fleet of basses and figured if I was going to go with anyone to build me a 5-string P-bass I would go with Nino.
