The vuvuzela ruins baseball too

If teams here start giving them away...
I can easily see them banned by most American sports.

Also why is it so popular to make as much noise as possible? Doesn't it interfere with you watching the game? Or enjoying it?

Yankee Stadium Crushes American Vuvuzela Craze Before It Begins

A 27-year-old Yankee fan brought a vuvuzela that he bought for $6 on the internet (ripoff) to the Stadium on Tuesday. He was kindly asked to leave. So I guess that settles it.

We will not tolerate such a disturbance here at Yankee Stadium. In an unrelated note, we will be revealing the new Yankee Horn for a low, low price of $85, available at every concession stand next week.

Yankee Management

Oh yeah, the Marlin's vuvuzela promotion likely backfired on the team in the form of a loss. It seems like there was a lineup mix-up that quashed a rally in the 8th because the umpire couldn't hear the Marlin's manager properly.

Just shows what as$h0l3s many sports fans have become. I used to go to Red Sox and Celtics games long ago but the rising prices and drunken jerk fans put an end to that.

Hey look at me! I'm the biggest jerk in the stadium!!!

Yeah, great dude.

People used to wear collared shirts, ties and jackets to baseball games. I should find a black and white crowd shot of a game circa 1940. I don't think they were screaming expletives with women and children around.
