Came home thinking that the fridge was going to be empty again. Mrs F had run out to the store and filled it with Sierra Nevada for me (and Chimay for her). I'm a happy man!

Spent the day in the studio and our drummer was kind enough to bring along some Stone Levitation Ale. Hit the spot!!!!
Had a Guiness last night. Maybe I've been drinking too many homebrews and imperial stouts lately, but it seemed kinda flavorless. It could have been a bad keg, but seemed very watery.
Started with Lagunitas IPA after a 45 mile bike ride this afternoon...but after 2 or 3 of those I decide that "carbo-loading" was done, and "gittin' all a-drunk" was beginning, so now I'm into a pile of gin.
Same as last night (#1047), nice, different little sweet edge but not too much, midway between Guinness and Beamish.
Contrary to what I thought in my earlier post, this has not been a good week. I've had a cold with a stopped up head and I can't taste a thing. All those good beers just sitting in the fridge, mocking me each time I open the door. I'm really anxious to try the Chatoe Rogue Dirtoir Black Lager, but I'm not gonna have one until my taster recovers; no point in wasting the good stuff......

If you live in Seattle, you owe it to yourself to check out Fremont Brewing. I've got a fresh keg in my new kegerator!
I got a sixer of Mighty Arrow after seeing it on here, and because it was from New Belgium. I really liked Fat Tire, and seeing as it was from the same company, I figured I would give it a shot.
It pours a much brighter and lighter color than the Fat Tire. Smells of citrus, mostly like grapefruit to me. It is fairly "thin" and leaves a nice lace. Decent mouthfeel. I enjoyed it.
We also picked up one of these in the "big jug" size:

Went to Harvey's Brewery Store in Lewes when I was visiting my parents the other day. Got a couple of beers to try; their Blue label is great! Damn tasty ale: [Invalid or Expired Link Removed]
Is it significantly more expensive over your ways for a bottle of good beer? Over here sh** beer can be $10 for 6 or $20 for 12. A good beer can be up to $10 for 1. Remember that is NZD, so don't be jumpin out of your seats 
Sounds fairly similar to the UK. I don't buy crates of beer (not much of a drinker) so I'm not really sure how much they go for! Ales are usually £1.50 - £2.00 per bottle. Worth it for me, much more enjoyable than lager!
