the worst talk show ever produced

It was the best of talk shows. It was the worst of talk shows.

It was Shatner's Raw Nerve.

I'm old enough to remember the Joe Franklin show. Neat guests, occasionally, but the worst produced talk show I ever saw.

I remember him, too. I also remember one - pretty much local in Philadelphia - hosted by a very angry guy with one leg, who needed very little to get him wound up into an artificial leg-pounding. bug-eyed rant, while his guest(s) sat there open-mouthed, and desperately looking for the nearest exit... A very bad talk show, but I enjoyed him immensely....:)

please tell me there are clips of that on youtube

I honestly don't know. Best I can remember, he was local, and we're talking late '50s, early '60s. And, I didn't live in Philly; just stayed with my Dad's family for several months a couple of times, waiting for base housing to become available when he was stationed overseas. OMG... his name just popped into my head...jeez, that was weird. Joe Pine. See if you can find him; he was a hoot...
