Renaissance. They developed a cult following in the DC to NYC corridor in the late 70s. Their bassist was a guy name Jon Camp who is really terrific, though I don't think he plays anymore. I've not been able to find out much about him online.

Funny you should mention Jon Camp, of whom I am a big fan (as well as Renaissance). He is indeed still playing and recording. I just bought this album yesterday.

Recorded in the late 80's, it was just released last year. They have it on Amazon.

He also just released an album this year under a new band, Mojo. Also on Amazon. I'll likely order this in the next few days.

Not as much as suspense thrillers or whodunnits. By today's standards the special effects were poor, but the stories were better. Turner Classic Movies has a treasure trove of oldies.
