Also one of these. You would hook the fire hydrant to the garden hose, then the small rubber hose to the fire truck. Voila! A working bucket sprayer.

I have three or four of these (the Yankee screwdriver, not the toy top). Very useful for certain things, but the cordless drill-driver has mostly kept them in the tool chest the last few years.

I have one of these kinds of drills. It has come in very handy for certain jobs.

I have a couple. And a couple wood planes. And some other old woodworking tools. They were my grandfathers. I have no idea what will become of them because my daughter has zero interest.

Those wood planes are interesting to look at. Convince her they are cool art objects for decor just to look at.

In the Star Trek movie about the whale rescue, They land in the 20th century in Golden Gate Park with a cloaking gadget up (of course) to prevent the
current earth people from getting freaked out. Spock and Kirk get out and not being able to see the ship, Kirk says "Remember where we parked.".
I think of this when I park in a crowded parking lot.
