Things You Don't See Anymore Part 3

In every case I knew of, those covers never came off. I wonder what happened to those chairs. Do millennial kids have them still with covers?

I remember they were also available for granma's 62 plymouth valiant. I imagine those is the junkyard still with the covers on mint seats.

The Valiants are now cool with some but no seat covers.

You won’t see anything like this done by pure staging and choreography anymore. Berkeley’s stuff was mindblowing…how did he even conceptualize it, let alone block all of it out?



Busby Berkeley's stuff is pretty spectacular. Some of the swimming scenes seem pretty risque for those times. The synchronizing is most impressive.

That was “pre-code”, when some uptight self-appointed purveyors of morality brought the hammer down on the nascent sound era as times got austere.
