I was lucky. In the 80s I got to drive most supercars you could think of. The Daytona was the only one I thought was actually worth the money.
Well.... Maybe 150,000
The rest were used sportscars that wore off.
I have this excellent book on the subject. Bought it new back in the day (this photo is not of my copy).
They go for a wide range. It's not uncommon for Chargers to go over $200k.
