Some people are still using medium format and film. My pal who is a landscape guy just sent this to me today about doing some portrait work on his niece & nephew:
So I flew out with my 4x5” camera gear and a load of Tri-x 320, and my 6x7cm Bronica with Tri-x 400. The 6x7 ended up being better for speed/attention with the kids. Prior to that trip I practiced on many of my friends and family here, so that was fun too. For the trip with the kids, I even got my niece excited about looking through the camera and pushing the trigger! Then I couldn’t get her away from it for a little while.
Either they go driverless first or you'll need a pilot licence to drive one. Enough bad drivers in 2D. Imagine 360 more degrees of drama and then add teenagers.
Large format is a blast. I have a few 4x5s now, but have been looking for an affordable 8x10 for a few years now so I can contact print. I dream of a 11x14...

The address on the truck says Suffolk, the photo is probably from last week!
