Al Jolson would be 134 this year. A grown up Myrna Loy had a small part in the first film with sound - “The Jazz Singer” starring Al Jolson. She is a dancer watching him behind the curtain in this shot:

There are some good close-ups of her in that film. You can Definitely tell it’s her. She wasn’t in one of the “talkie” parts. Of course, that was released in 1927. She wasn’t yet a star.

I just want to say, Space: 1999 was cool, especially Catherine Schell's nifty eyebrows and amazing cheekbones.

If you liked Space:1999, you might like the "parent" show, UFO.

Nice to know that where there is now a neighborhood* Scientist were producing atomic explosions everyday of the week, except Sunday to rest.

* (probably, do not know for sure but the way development has been happening would not be surprised if houses are in the zone.)

Yeah they set off over 2000 nuclear explosions total back then since every developed country had to test their own to join the atomic BOMB club! That probably didn’t affect the climate at all! SMH

In Japan every snack had shrimp paste. With a shellfish allergy the cheezy test was the only thing I could eat.

I guess that's something you don't see anymore, and cheese too, well they have cheese, but it's not great.
