In the 1940s...
Back when getting a live turkey was more mainstream than it is today, a woman carried her Thanksgiving gobbler home on her back, while she held an axe in her right hand. Yikes!

I remember seeing these pics years ago and was so disappointed that our Best was absolutely conventional looking. They’ve been gone a long time now, so long that people say: “You mean Best Buy?” “No,” or even describing how you’d order then pick up in different areas, and the conveyor belt...
 
Don't forget harvest gold!
Ahh those 70s colors. My house was built in the early 70s, and when I bought it, was entirely decorated in such colors, and yes, I had the full assortment in the kitchen: harvest gold, avacado green, and that lovely Montezuma (as in Revenge) Brown! :poop: hehe
