Loved seeing these especially on the old Batman series...

Back in the early 90s I bought a beige colored used Subaru that I loved. About a month after buying it someone hit it, kinda hard, right behind the door. I was struggling financially at the time and since the damage was only cosmetic, I decide to paint POW! (like in those pictures) where the dent was.

My car got more smiles on the road that I could have ever imagined. My wife said THAT had her liking me before she even met me :) . She saw my car (before me) on the day we met.

Eight years ago my brother in law crunched the rear of his car on a telephone pole, at the yards edge, backing up to leave after a visit. I wanted to put one of those giant band-aids on the car but he sold it immediately. I put the band-aid on the telephone pole for him to see on the next visit. Heh heh heh. Equal amounts of loathing and
amusement...as expected.
