In the 1980s at our local music shop, they had an actual pile of tube amp heads- a dollar a watt. Black and silver face fenders, some Ampeg's, a few Univox, pretty much anything except marshall and highwatt. If I only knew...it was 1979 you could pick valve amps up for next to nothing in the ukas transistor amps became more the fashion

The big old Morley (Tel-ray) pedals with the light bulbs. 110 volt only. I still have the volume pedal version.

I always thought that stuff was so weird.If you are any where near as old as I am, do you remember as a kid when you would get a cut or scratch and your mom would put this reddish looking liquid on your "boo boo" and it would stain your skin red?
