I loved candy cigarettes, and gum cigarettes. Both my parents smoked. I started smoking in the 5th grade, and for about 20 years smoked 2 1/2 to 3 packs a day. Most of the people I know who never smoked also had parents who didn't.

My extended family had many people who smoked--and some who still do.
But not my parents.

Just about everything you post, I grew up with :). Completely forgot about the concentration game, which we used to play all the time (and can be bought real cheaply on ebay, by the way). And my brother built the digicomp 1, which I never really understood. But he loved it.

I never had the Concentration game; but, I loved playing it and my uncle had it and we played it. I liked watching the Concentration TV game show too.

Do you remember playing the card game called Concentration? (also known as Memory, Pairs, and many other names)

Schaper U-Drive-It table top action set, from 1974. In this playset you place a little plastic car on the scenic road, and turn the ignition key which activates the game. Car will travel in a circular or modified pattern depending on how you steer. You control the speed with the foot operated pedal. The cardboard roadway flips over for your choice of sports rally theme or country road scene with gas station, launderette, market, etc. Runs on 2 size "D" batteries.

Dairy Queen used to have sundaes in larger size replica helmets like that , I had a ton of them , perfect size to jam on the cats head and watch them run around in terror, around 1976-77 I think

LOL. My wife saw the helmets I posted and said, "I REMEMBER THEM! THEY USED TO SERVE ICE CREAM IN THEM!"

Back in the 1960s, my dad had a small bar in the house and he got a whiskey display card that had all the NFL miniature team helmets (like the vending machine helmets Joe posted) at the time on it. The AFC teams were on one side and the NFC teams were on the other side and the bottle of whiskey was displayed in the middle. I can't remember what brand of whiskey it was; but, here is a Kessler Whiskey display with miniature baseball team helmets.
