I had a full motion water bed. I bought it for 200.00! I was really excited about it but it really sucked. One move and you rocked and rolled for a long time. It was impossible to keep the sheets on. I sold it soon after I got it.

Yes

I had several. Great for attaching your starting line to a bed post, porch rail, or even a car door handle.

I was a Navy brat. This scene always reminds me of the rec room in the rear of the building which housed the theater of Rodman Center on Mare Island Naval Base during the late 1960s. It was so much fun. They always had KFRC blasting on the overhead radio. First time I ever heard the Doors, Stones, Hendrix and Cream was there too.

In the early '70s, we were used to seeing images like that. For instance, from a Tootsie Pop commercial:

We used to take on old matress, hold on to one end so it shaped like a toboggan, and slide down staircases.

Drywall with me and my cousins' skull imprint was the result.

It was a time featuring Sid and Marty Krofft and Peter Max, among others. Illustrations and children's TV programming were...interesting...to say the least!

Around here, the big bands either had a Shure Vocal Master P.A. or a Fender P.A. The mid level bands were lucky to have a Kustom P.A.

In the early 1970s, we auditioned and hired a drummer who also sang, played bass, owned a station wagon, and a gold Naugahyde Kustom P.A. He was older than we were and he was a school music teacher.

This is what the Kustom P.A. looked like. We thought we hit the big time.
