Things You Don't See Anymore Part 3

My brother and I used to throw these over the house to each other, when he was still alive.

And you wonder why people wanted it banned?

Are horseshoes any less dangerous if you want to hurl one at another person?

Horseshoes don't have a point. That's why the new version doesn't.

Or regular darts, baseball, golf, anything thrown, hit, or involving a projectile?

Ditto.

I get your point, pun intended. My point is what is it that makes us in North America so stupid compared to those in the rest of the world? I remember playing with these with my brother unsupervised without any issue. We were around 10 years old. We still did stupid stuff, but there is a certain level of stupid which we never ventured into.

Let’s go camping!

Campfire! Open Flame!
Cooler full of beer!

What could possibly go wrong?!

How in the name of Jayzuzonabicycle did this weapon ever get reimagined as a ‘toy’?!
Not familiar with those. But I can enjoy a game of normal darts. But aside from a simple game of skill, those arrows are used by parents to teach arithmetic, and by soccer hooligans as weapons.

Hard to say if they're a good or a bad thing on balance.
