Things You Don't See Anymore Part 3

Do you tip them ever?

Occasionally if they wash the windows and when I bring my mower/tractor cans to be filled.
Diesel in the car, then another transaction needs to be restarted to fill the cans with 87. While filling the cans they are stuck with me holding the nozzle into the cans.

Most of the time it is just, shove nozzle into hole, and they go on to the next car to shove a nozzle into that tank.
Then they will come back to pull it out, hand you receipt and off to the next car.
Like fast food restaurant.

It sucks if it is busy, you HAVE TO wait for them to get to you. Then the pump stops but they are with another car or three before they get back to you.

Us regular folk can not touch the "unsafe" nozzle. :cautious:
Because of this, it is fun when you go to nearby Washington state and see the Oregon drivers trying to figure out how to make the unmanned pumps work. :woot:

Even though we have three to five Employees/Attendants running around pumping gas, our gas is still cheaper than our neighboring states of Washington and California.
