My first(of many)vans was a short wb 69 Ford. 302, 3 on the tree, no ac(ugh).
I added had a roof mounted air scoop(closable)and rear roof mounted vent(also). Created a decent air flow-if you were moving.Air conditioning back then was open the wing window.
Dang I saw all of those campers and Vans shown here and for a minute I thought this was a real tent with the real Jeanie included! I got my CC card out!

When I was a kid, a bag of Corn Nuts was a nickel. You’ll never see that again.
1963, Royal Castle(Miami's version of White Castle-sorta), 2 burgers(what are called sliders today-not then), frosted mug of birch beer, slice of lemon meringue pie. 47 cents-with tax.
I remember when your basic candy bar was 10 cents. When they went up to 15 cents each (yikes!), I had to ask for a raise in my allowance.
