I don't know - when I was a kid we lived in a very rural area for a few years and I had to see a dentist that was using chisels, hammers and pliers. It sure felt like that picture to my 9 yo self....
Then there's Sidewalk Dentistry in India and elsewhere.
5th Avenue Candy Bars (with Almonds) when they were made by Luden's Candy Company. Hershey makes them now but no almonds on them. Not as good.

It'd work for me. The only almonds I ever liked were the packages they(used to)serve on airliners.
