Canary in a Coal Mine cage with oxygen tank and resuscitator to rescue gassed birds.
Canary in a Coal Mine refers to the former practice of taking live canaries into coal mines to test for the presence of toxic gases, particularly carbon monoxide, the illness or death of the canaries serving as an indication that such gases were present.
The earliest mention of this practice is from the Yorkshire Telegraph and Star (Sheffield, Yorkshire) of Friday 21st December 1906.

Fixed that...I've had one of the 'new' Clark bars... bought one at Cracker Barrel a while back. Definitely NOT the same Clark bar I had growing up. This one had a strong molasses-like flavor to it, overpowering the peanut buttery flavor I was expecting.

There are, in any field, people whose knowledge experience and understanding are so deep that even their brief comments can often resonate with you even in different fields of endeavor. Thus Bob Pease, Dr. Deming, Andrew N White the saxophonist, Fred Brooks ("The Mythical Man-Month"), F. J. Anscombe ("Graphs in Statistical Analysis"), Edward Tufte, etc.
Most of those names are familiar to me too. The world would be a different place without them!
I had three Corvairs, but all second-gen fully-independent-suspension (two 65 monzas, and a 66 coupe...) - none of those 'unsafe at any speed' first-gen solid-axle ones. BEST car for climbing up snowy hills...
It is one of the coolest designs I’ve seen. Wow what an Idyllic Photo. Everything is clean and modern in that old fashioned way.
The glass even looks squeaky clean...almost fake like a movie set from the Twilight Zone.
That building is still on downtown Johnstown, PA with other businesses. It is directly across the street from Central Park. I have played at the gazebo in Central Park many times during Thunder In The Valley Motorcycle Festival.
What I liked about the Jupiter Store was they they sold boxes of cut out 45 vinyl records. There were 10 records in a box for a few dollars. I could only see the top record, which as usually a minor hit or a song by a well known group. I would find some real gems hidden inside of good songs and some by unknown acts that were cool. Some had picture sleeves. I still have those 45 records.
Some people I know have a Corvair just like that one. I see it often.
