Well, there was Jackyl…

I don't know why they make them so big now.
Bigger mower decks cut wider swaths, reducing the amount of time it takes to mow a given space. I used to use a walk-behind mower on our yard, and it took me about three hours to cover it all. Then, I still had to go over the edges, trees, fence, etc. with the trimmer, which took another two hours.

When the opportunity arose to switch to a riding mower with a three-blade, 48" deck, I jumped at the chance. (The only reason I didn't go bigger was because that was as big as I could get through the double-doors of the basement into its "parking space.") Now I can do the wide-area cutting of front, back, and side yards in under an hour. I still have to do all the weed-eating and edge trimming on foot, of course, but with a time savings like that up front, it helps a lot.

They can pry the keys to my big ol' 'Murcan riding mower from my cold, dead hands. :p :D

I loved ALF, and thought the mom was kinda hot, especially for a guy like Willy. Oddly enough, I don't think she (Anne Schedeen) did a whole lot of acting post-ALF despite the show making her somewhat well-known.

I'd also read that the cast were so frustrated and fed up from the long shooting days due to the puppeteer's endless re-takes and demand for perfection, that at the time the series finale completed shooting, Willy (Max Wright) immediately walked off the stage and out of the studio, not even saying a word to his castmates or crew.

Alf is airing currently on LAFF TV Network and METV Network.
