Things You Don't See Anymore Part 3

So weird...just yesterday I mentioned Hills to a coworker, as we were talking about discount-type stores that aren't around anymore. I explained Hills was basically a predecessor to Target. And hours later, this gets posted. Gotta be that brain-wavelength thing going on!

Grants, Sprouse-Ritz, Yellow Front, Gaylord's, Kmart, Woolco/Woolworth's, Gee Bee, Gibson's, are a few that I can think of that I remember going to at one point or another in my life.

Yep. It's that west central Pennsylvania brain-wavelength thing going on!

We also had King's, Mason's Value City, Zayre, Hess's, Jupiter, and I worked for Gee Bee supermarkets when I was a teenager. Glosser Brothers in Johnstown, PA was the parent store of Gee Bee and my mother worked there.
