Something you won't see anymore after August 30 of this year - Lee Corso on "College (Football) GameDay." I always enjoy watching someone who really loves his work. I'll miss the fun and enthusiasm Coach brought to the show. Enjoy your retirement, sir!

Not just Walter, but the monitors and especially the pipe!
I don't recall ever seeing that. I'm only familiar with the 1 gallon jugs.
I guess they were half gallon jars, but I remember the insulated milk box on the back porch and that the empty jars (I thought) magically refilled over night. The jars had a cardboard disc on top to seal them. When it got really cold, the milk would freeze and push the top off on a column of frozen milk.

So many ways things could go wrong. Water, electricity, high heat and refrigeration all in one little package.
